Thread: Can Slide Menu Folders Be Hyperlinked?

Is it possible to hyperlink slide menu folders, or is it only possible to hyperlink folder items?

I would like my top link to be "HOME" and would like to keep it part of the slide menu if possible. Thank you for your help.

HUH?

You have to link to a page, or an image, or a file. If you link to a folder nothing will happen but show its contents..and i guess if you want them to have the contents...OK

I apologize for the dumb question. Here's a screenshot of my slide menu, which I wanted to put on every page. Of the different navagation bars, I like the look of the slide menu best. I would like to be able to click on "Home" and go to the home page. If nothing else, I can take "Home" out of the slide menu, use text with a simple link, and format it to look like it's part of the slide menu. I just thought there might be something simpler that I don't know about.

Ok.. I had to go look but I see what you mean

The folders should be like a category name: Main..and under it.. Home, about us, privacy policy etc.

Then maybe youd have.. Products, product one, product two etc

So no it doesnt appear that you can link it that way in this instance

Those are not folders in your menu bar but simply headings and yes they can be linked. Depending on the type of menu you are using (where you got it from) will determine how you go about linking them. Is this a slide menu from within BV that you made or did you import it from somewhere else?

Its within Bv... I looked I couldnt link it.

No the slide menu had cotegories (headings) that can not be linked or changed to an image. The items under these headings can however be linked to a page or file such as a pdf. Based on your other post what you want is a menu bar, this can be set up to have the drop down like you want, they can also be replaced with images. To see the menu bar in action you can look at my site, I have some that do not drop as well as some that do (twice in a few cases).
