Thread: Hyperlink Dialog Box Doesn't Save New Link

Hi. I've read the forums throughout but I'm having a hard time finding an answer to my problem. I was wondering is someone has had a similar issue.

I am trying to hyperlink text back to my home page.

When I double click the text, click the hyperlink icon, and create the link and then click OK to close the box, when I open the box again there's nothing there, there's nothing after the http:// where I just entered the new link.

Does anyone have an idea what I should be doing?

Make sure that you stated that it should be http.

Does it throws out an underline underneath your chosen text?

You have to double click the text box to activate the text editor, but then you need to actually highlight the text then click the hyperlink icon to add the link. You may not see the underline until you either view it in preview (the links wont work though until published) or after you publish the page.

Thank you. That was a big help. I didn't realize that you had to highlight the text.

These are the first two pages I ever linked together...I'm now off to a good start.
