Thread: bluevoda hyperlink parameters

How to know what the parameters _blank, _parent_ top, _ self, or pop up window do.
I think they are very important and are never explained, or I never found them.
My feeling is that they are a way for the pages to be browsed, and they don't consume ram memory?

_blank opens the page in a new window
_self opens in the same window
_top and _parent are used with frames

They are not directly related to ram consumption in any way. Indirectly, if you are using _self, which will open in a new window, would free up the memory used by the current web page, but depending on the size of the page that is loading it could use more or less memory.

In general there is nothing you do on a computer that won't consume memory, there are no settings for something to make it so that it won't.
