Thread: Go/Jump Menu Problem

I have created a Go Menu with (4) items in it. If I hit the 'Go' button while the initial text is in the box it attempts to go to page that does not exist so it can't find it and shows an error page in the browser. If I change the menu to a jump menu when I scroll down to a link it finds that page but also tries to find a page associated with the 'initial text' and again can't find it so it shows an error page as well as the page I am navigating to. I thought the 'initial text' is just dead text. Any ides what I am doing wrong?

Update

On further investigation this problem only seems to occur in Safari. IE and Firefox work fine. Can this be fixed or is anyone viewing with Safari going to have to live with it???
