    Default Flash for menu

    Hi
i dont think im getting the coverage on google that i should be getting. Ive redone my home page and the menu page, as my webpages were all flash based.
The way ive done them now is like a standard bv webpage, with test and stuff, but also with a few flash objects. One is the header/banner, the other is the navigation buttons.

What i would like to know is, when checking which pages google has as similar pages, my site always shows nil. Can google read the links/navigation buttons with them being one big flash object? just beginning to wonder. If it cant, I'll need to change the navigation menu to standard i guess?

Heres the main menu http://www.civic5.com/menu.html The links down the left handside in red are one flash object. The links in the red bar that runs across the top are part of the whole flash header (the fancy civic5 logo with cars etc)

    Any help mucho appreciated

    Dave

Cheers! time to go revamp the website! Thanks for the help. Oh one other thing, metatags..........is there a limit to how many you have, i mean, if you have too many will google ignore them?

    Thanks again

Yes! Things like keywords you might be using, must be within the text of the page or title of the page. Dont try adding loads of motoring words if its not within the page,s text or title. Also treat each page as an individual page & not just copy all the key words from one page to another.

You can have a flash menu, but you need to also use a text menu or link to all the pages in your text on the page
