Thread: Highlighting menu tabs

I am trying to set up a new website (and it is no where near ready yet). Most of the web site will only require a single level navigation where I intend to use menu tabs. Check out http://www.hangarart.org/Monica/advokatservice.html for an example. On one of the tabs I will need a second level of navigation http://www.hangarart.org/Monica/index4.html. As long as I am using the top level navigation on the menu bar everything works well and the tab I have chosen is "highlighted" (in yellow). Ideally what I would like to do is leave the tab highlighted when I go down to the next level of navigation - in this example by choosing the navigation button "kopi og trykk" which takes me to the page: http://www.hangarart.org/Monica/kopiogtrykk.html.

Is there any html I can add - or another simple way of accomplishing this ?

you lost me at the bakery.

I will try to illustrate this with some images so that the explanation is a little bit better. The first images shows horizontal menu tabs where I have clicked on the tab "Nærkopi" - it is highlighted in yellow and the page for Nærkopi is shown.


What I would like to do now is go to a sub page of "Nærkopi" and I do this by clicking on the navigation button to the left called "Kopi og Trykk". The result is shown in the next image. The correct page is shown but the tab is no longer highlighted in yellow. I was therefore wondering if someone had a special trick or could offer some sort of advice on how to get the "Nærkopi" tab to stay highlighted when using the navigation buttons on the left.


I hope this makes things a little more clear.

well i would assume that the 2nd page is just another page that you built on the builder. just color the tab yell by putting a yellow shape in the box and then print black type of it. if you dont understand this i can make the page for you.
