Thread: "Open in new page" - Can we open in a tab?

Hi..

I'm sorry if this is a very basic question, but I've searched the forum and can't find an answer.

I want to set some of my external links to open in a new browser tab rather than popping up in a completely new window.

Is that possible in BV...and if so, how?

As far as i know this is down to what your own particular browser is set at.

Since most browsers have been updated to accommodate Tabs and separate viewing displays, if you set "Target = _blank" in the Hyperlink Dialog, they will in fact open a new Tab (IE, FF, Slimbrowser, OPERA, Safari, etc.).

Thanks... I knew I was missing something obvious. I thought I had to set "Target=_blank" AND click on "Open in New Window"... but that, of course, resets the target to "Target=_self".
