Thread: can't make internal links

Hello! I'm new to this forum - in fact it is the first forum I have ever used!
Here's my issue: I am having no trouble making external links to my pages, but the ones within BV baffle me. If you open Untitled Page and click on the read more link, this is the message that comes up:
The requested URL /www.humnew.com/readmore.html was not found on this server.
I tried different paths, like: http://humnew.com/dennismeiners.com/.../readmore.html since I have files inside of folders, but that doesn't work either. I don't know how much you can see on your end...
Can you see what am I doing wrong?

I'm just making test pages at this point, but will eventually replace our current site with one made in BV. I love the drag and drop. DW makes me crazy.

You have a little too much in your link, it should look like this: http:// humnew .com/ readmore.html. Take out the spaces. Untitled Page

thanks! I was able to copy the URL from the live page link in your message, pasted it in and it worked.
Now I'm trying to put a back link and put this for the URL:
http://humnew.com/aboutdennis.html
but it doesn't do anything- as in, the word back won't even show up on the published page http://humnew.com/aboutdennis.html ????????? There's nothing in front of it- I moved it to front just to be sure.

You have to put a back button on there, or some text along the lines of this: Back and then hyperlink it.
