Thread: Links! PLEASE help!!

Hiya,
I am new to building my own website. I have just finished designing my Index Page. I have to start linking the various buttons to other pages that I am in the process of building. Do I have to publish the Index Page as well as the other pages in order to test my links?
I have another question: I need to have a series of thumbnails (20/30) on the left side of a page. I want to be able to scroll them up or downm, and when I click on one of the thumbnails I want the pic to appear on the same page in a determined area.
Please can anyone help me?
