    Default A Sound Editor

Sound is usually not thought of much in web designing. However,
I happen to enjoy sounds and music very much. lots of folks who
add sound files to their site are wondering how to shorten them.
It would save folks lots of time if BV had a small, simple sound
editor on the tool frame which would allow us to import a mp3
or wav , edit it down and publish it.

Great idea, I would love to have sound on my site, my smallest (applicable) song is about 3mb - way too large!

I'd like to go one step further...as an artist, i'd like to sell my mp3's straight from my website, i have no clue how to do that. will you ever give us the capability to have that kind of player?

Selling mp3's and playing mpe's are two entirely different things, but they are bothe acheivable in BV: the first, by using a shopping cart script, the second by implementing a wmp in your pages.

See the link above from Andy on another forum topic.
It has some really good information on setting up a player.

(music and audio must be public domain or your own work)

That is a good idea. I have two different types of software to import/convert to wav/cut/convert to mp3. It would be cool if BV could do something like that, but Im happy with what it offers ;)
