Thread: Wish we could have private chat rooms?

I wish we could have private chatrooms...just when you feel like catching up with friends while on the fourm with out having to leave and use other messenger services or e-mail back and forth...BUT I suppose with this many people that would be too much...oh welll..back to the FORUM it is...lol

Or Private Messaging?

LOL...I'm having one of those days too Kate...yeah we don't have PMB's but I can still wish...lol...

Im afraid we have disabled private messaging, it was being abused.

It is unfortunate that chat rooms for different forums (topics) isn't available. Specifically for different issues. Sorting through the forums can, at times, be very tedious, and then I still won't find what I am looking for. I see that the forums on this site are set up almost identically to the ones on *********. That site talks a little over my head, but I pop in there once in a while to see if I can learn something new.

I do know that some chat rooms have a 'Report Abuse' and 'Ignore' option. This can get someone kicked out really fast. I hope Blue Voda reconsiders. A chat room could be very helpful for getting quick ideas, answers and sometimes just some helpful hint that isn't posted in a forum. Like the week I have just spent, learning to resize pictures. HA! Such a simple thing, but I struggled until I was about to give up! The issue is now solved.
