Thread: Suggestion for New Member Welcome Email

Firstly I would like to compliment you all on your fantastic forums - all the issues I have had so far I have found others have had also in these forums - and generally have been able to fix them and move on.

My suggestion to you is:

When you send out your welcome email with the login details etc for the control panel, can you please also put an instruction in it for all those people like me who have registered their domain names elsewhere, ie. tell us to change the domain name server (DNS) details to VodaHosts server and IP addresses.

This would have saved me a lot of time.

I understand it is easy to assume that everyone is at the same level of expertise, and I am no dummy, however this is my first real attempt at putting a website together. Spelling these simple things out in the very beginning of a hosting relationship would make it oh so much simpler!
