    I think that blue voda should beable to import images that are in the clipboard

    Voda probably will do exactly that if you open a text element and then do it, but you will lose some of the properties bv has built into inserting images and lightshows etc when you do this.

    But, there is the drag and drop feature from an open folder, that helps some.
