Thread: Group!!!!!!!!!

How about grouping? This way,when youpress on one thing,the whole group will move.Very handy sometimes.(if you decide to put it,please don't make the number of groups be limited.Just infinite groups with names 1,2,3)

What do you think?

Please elaborate more about grouping. How exactly do u envision it working?

I mean,let's say i put a photo and some text next to the photo.I want to move the photo and the text a bit lower.Instead of chossing and moving the photo and then the text i wish there was a group command that groups the photo and the text and when i press on the text,the photo too will get chosen.Or the opposite,if i press on the photo,the text will get chosen too.This can actually be done if yo hold the mouse and choose what you want,but if there are a lot of things close to each other,it's difficult to do with the mouse.
Like combat games.There is soldier 1 and soldier 2 and soldier 3.When the time for battle comes there is no time to hold the mouse and choose them all and then target the enemy.Just group them from before and then,even if you only press on the 1 or on the 2 or on the 3,all of them will get chosen,giving more time to fight. :D

If this isn't possible at least make Ctrl to work in BV.You know,when something is pressed and then you hold Ctrl and you press an other thing,the first does not get depressed.

This feature is already available: To select multiple objects, drag a selection box around them, or hold down the Shift key while you click them one at a time.

The Shift button works as opposed to the ctrl button.

Just a hint not everyone might know...

If you press Ctrl then "A", every item on your page is selected.

Also, I've found that using the arrow keys instead of the mouse is GREAT for "fine tuning" movement of items on your page to match the location of items on your other pages (like the navigation bar).

Just a couple of things that saved me lots of time. =)
