Divine Mother of the universe. Sounds like a pretty big job to me!! I love the story. The 4 hands must come in pretty useful then, Haha! . . . . especially the spare one - has got to be up for some serious fun that one!

I hope you are well. Back to the UK in a couple of weeks for 3 days then off to Egypt for a week - 2 golf courses to measure. Then back to the UK for Christmas and the New Year with my daughters. Can't wait, haven't seen them for over a year. C ya Goddess!

    Hello Kevin,

Its nice to be named after a goddess. Although I must admit I did not really appreciate it till I got much older....lol. That is the Goddess Bhuvaneswari...whew a mouthful I know. Can you imagine how long it took me to learn how to spell that.

She is the the Creator of the World. She is is one of the Dasa Maha Vidyas or 10 Mahavidyas and is an incarnation of Goddess Shakti. She is the fourth Maha Vidyas. Bhuvanesvari means the queen or ruler of the universe, the realm of being. She is the Divine Mother as the queen of all the worlds. The whole universe is her body and all beings are ornaments on Her infinite being.

I got all that from the web...otherwise I could spend forever trying to explain it all.. makes me well suited for job of teaching...one had for grading, one hand for boinking my student on the head for not doing their best, one hand for boinking me on the head for not doing my homework and the other hand is a spare...lol.

    Toodles.

    Bzzzzz

    Hello Bee

Now you are going to have to enlighten me. It must be nice being named after a Goddess. Forgive my ignorance of Indian culture, but who is she? What is she the goddess of? What does she represent?

Having said I'm ignorant of your culture, its not all bad, I absolutely love Indian food! I love all food and I really enjoy cooking, but Indian is by far my favourite and have cooked it (from a number of Indian cook books) for years. Wonderful! (In the United Kingdom, Indian food is OFFICIALLY the nations' favourite). Can you believe that? It's true.

So keep well. Knock those kids into shape. Help build their futures (gulp!! . . . . what a BIG responsibility). Oh, one final thing, I 'knicked' (stole) your recipes off your website Haha. I will let you know how they turn out as each one is tried!. All the very best goddess, K.

    Hi Kevin,

LOL...nope just decided I needed a new pic and picked one of my namesake. That is the goddess I was named after..lol...a bit of an ego trip ...my 'kids' at school have been making feel like i need to bring out the goddess in me and whip them into shape for exams...lol. Thought I might as well go with it. Hope you are enjoying the forum. I'm just sad I don't get on as often as before. I miss all my buds.
