when you click on the "qoute" or the "reply" buttons in someone else's thread, the post is posted in THAT thread.
To start a new one, select the FORUM (not thread) where you want to post, and, on the upper (not top) left part you will see a button named "New Thread" . Click there to start your own threads. - 06-30-2008 04:52 PM - permalinknavaldesignYou have published the contactus page as html, you need to set the page extension to be php: Page Properties, Extension (When the page is published) and select php.
Of course, in your menus, use "contactus.php" instead of "contactus.html" - 06-30-2008 11:23 AM - permalinknavaldesignAs i already said, PLEASE use the forum.
Also have a look at http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/new...ing-abuse.html
Last: i used the quotes only to show what i meant, you DON'T use the quotes when naming your pages. Name them contact , products etc.
ou don't need to use File Manager, unless you need to upload files in your site that can not be uploaded in other ways, like a PDF or a Word or Excel file, or change permissions to a file, or delete a file or create a new folder etc. . Even so, it is MUCH easier to use FTP instead of File Manager. - 06-29-2008 06:45 PM - permalinknavaldesign1. Simply edit your index page as required, save and publish it again. refresh (F5) your browser to see the new version.
2. Each page must be saved with it's own name: "about_us" , "contact" , "products", No spaces, no capitals. BV wil add the extensions.
3. Not sure what you mean. Which data would you like to change in File Manager ? This is only a tool for uploading, deleting, renaming files etc. So i don't really understand what you mean.
4. Seems like the 404 is about the sucsess page. Did you create / publish one ? did you provide the relevant URL correctly in the form wizard ?
Please use the forum in the future, as i really have difficulties in answering on a personal basis. By using the forum many other people can answer your questions. Thanks
