I've read your posts and you seem so helpful and actually give advice on how to solve the problem being a newbie that is a wonderful thing. The issue I'm having is my home page menu tabs work, I've validated all of them on all of the pages, but the other pages don't switch when I click on the tab...I'm so frusted. www.creativewaterscapes.bizThanks, Misslisab

    Charles,
I opened Netscape and the Accessories link works from the Home page for me. It does open in a new window though.
And I see that your Policy and Accessories links open in a new window. Close BV and your browsers. Then open BV and Highlight each of these links again and check that Target is empty. Then Save the page and republish and lets try that.

    Hi, jcay,
It's Charles. Those two pages(Accessories and Policy)continue to pop up in different tabs even after I took your suggestion about going to the link dialog and making sure that the Target option was clear and doing the F5 thing to clear the cache. Not sure not how to solve the problem. I've been searching through the forums but have yet to find a solution. Another curious thing is that after taking the suggestion from one of the forums and installing Netscape to go along with IE and Firefox, the Accessories link doesn't work in that browser! Is there a pill for that headache?

    Hi Jerry,

Mystery solved......and here I thought most of you guys were just too technical for me to keep up with. I remember typing in /index.html to find myself on the web when it would not come up with patternsbysandra.com at the beginning
    Thanks for that

    Regards
    Sandra

ps thought learning something new every day was enough to keep the brain going - but the steep learning curve the last couple of months should keep my brain in tip top form for a good long while.
Looking forward to going back to the one thing a day though.

pps Great learner..just posted this to myself and it is not the first time

Hi, jcaywood, this is Charles again-http://www.gpzcomputer.com- I'd like to tell you what's currently happening with my problems with my updated index and contact pages not showing up in the browser. Even after I took Sandra's suggestion and logged in to Cpanel and deleted the old pages from there, the error message i get in the browser when I click on those links(index and contact) say:" The requested URL/indexx.html was not found on this server." And, underneath that: " A 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an Error Document to handle the request." The first part I understand because I deleted those particular pages(indexx and contac)- but the frustrating problem is that the updated pages aren't showing up in place of them, even after I've re-linked and re-published the pages numerous times. My other links work fine(services, accessories, and policy). Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanx.
