Default Need help with FP and Firefox

I'm having a strange problem with viewing my flash swf in Firefox.
When I load my site in Firefox to test it, I click on a button link that is in the swf, and the page crashes. Also, the table that contains the swf disappears leaving just the background image showing.
What is strange it that it doesn't happen in Explorer.

Does any one have a clue as to what is causing the problem?

Karen, I'm not sure what you mean. I found this on Firefox for an addon.
Is this what you meant?

Karen, I'm so confused, I don't know which way is up!
I did find out that my issue was with Adobe Flash Security and not with an add on. I went into settings to allow my site to communicate with the Internet during a preview. I added the path that showed on the error message, but I still cannot see the full page when I click on the swf button.
Only the main background page is visible. There is a Table that contains a layer with a html file in it along with a layer that contains swf menu buttons. I can view all of the page in IE, but not FF.
I just can't figure out why the table with image and other elements don't show in FF!

About to throw in the towel..smile

I just told and i will tell you again. Firefox (Mozilla) will NOT work with flash unless you download the FLASH ADDON FOR IT. Then it will work. But .. do it your way.

Excuse me all to pieces!!! I am totally new at this flash thingy, and on top of that I'm an older lady! I sometimes need more detailed info than downloading active x add on!

Thanks again. I won't bother you again!

Thank you, Chris. I'll give that a try. I already have Adobe Flash 10.12,but maybe the updated one will help.
I appreciate your kindness.

Chris, wish I could say the updated Adobe Flash Player helped, but it didn't.
Thanks for trying to help.

Hi, if its the flash player on your front page its showing up at my end with FF. But it takes ages to load (40 seconds) & i am not sure why as it's is 2.1meg in size. Large! & this wont help, but should not take 40sec's to load..

Hi Chris,
I just checked the link to my page that I have showing under my name. Although, I thought I changed that old website to the new one I'm working on, but the old one still shows when the link is clicked.
Going to try and change it again.

Firefox just upgraded to 3.5, which has the flash player situation taken care of. If you are still having problems there, try it.

Link.

Hi Tom,
Thank you! I just upgraded to the latest version, but still didn't take care of the problem. Think I will start from scatch and see what happens.

Oh, I didn't reboot, so will do that. Hope that helps
