It is simply due to your connection and/or system, and has nothing to do with any hosting or server function.

Try cleaning your browser cache, deleting Temp files, keeping open applications to a minimum, reducing your RAM simultaneous operations requirements; fine tuning your wireless Network; updating your OS, Browsers, Java, and Flash/Adobe regularly; and keeping your anti-virus updated.

Wordpress is a Dynamic PHP script, so if you are experiencing any 'hang' at all, it is on your end and how your system responds.

As of Friday September 20th, Microsoft released a critical 'fix' for IE and all IE clones (Firefox/Mozilla products, Opera, Slimbrowser, etc.) and a patch for Chrome to repair a serious flaw that could allow hacks from re-direct Trojans and autobots to compromise browsers, so if you have not processed updates since, you are advised to to do so as soon as possible: upwards of 41% of all systems in North America have already been exploited or have threats in place, so updating the fix will "close the hole" to disallow access. You will have to use multi-capable anti-virus and malware removal tools to actually remove or isolate the threats, but the update will deny compromise nonetheless.
