  • Design Assistance needed regarding photos and distorted images

    (1) My index.html page includes a distorted ghost image behind text. The image appears to be of a BlueVoda component I use as a tab to link to my photos.html page. The distorted image is as a partial distortion of the tab labeled Multimedia.

    (2) In addition, my photos.html page does not allow the .gif files to appear. I upload the photos.html with photos, and upload the required .gif files. However, the gifs do not appear on the photos.html.

    (3) When I reload the index.html page, the distorted ghost image disappears, but a white circle appears on the photos, html age, and the .gif files still do not appear on the photos.html page. This problem started about 10 days ago. What can I do to resolve this???

Re: Design Assistance needed regarding photos and distorted images

My domain is swingaroux.com. I opened ticket #OSV-945588, which directed me to the forum.

The current issue is with http://www.swingaroux.com/photos.html. The purpose of the page is to display photos in .gif format. However, about 15 days ago, the page ceased to display photos. The page instead displays a white circle. When the mouse hovers over the white circle, the circle blinks, and the bottom left of the screen shows the following http://www.swingaroux.com/ensembles.html.

      Thanks for the help.

Re: Design Assistance needed regarding photos and distorted images

Two solutions, one more efficient than the other:
        1. Be sure you select "Publish All Files" in the BlueVoda Publish Dialog Box to be sure all your images are published to the server (providing you have indeed properly configured them -- the thumbnails and the larger images -- in Gallery as instructed in the Tutorial).
        2. Create a simple page with all your Gallery images -- both the smaller thumbnails and the larger sized images, all formatted the same size for each selection -- and Publish the page without any links to any other page, and simply COPY the individual image URLs as they appear on the page and PASTE these image URLs into your Gallery where indicated so the images themselves are "pre-loaded" into your Page rather than need to be individually "recalled" to populate.
