my site is http://www.thetradesjournal.com I hired someone to build a search feature for the MYSQL database. He also built a web form to add contractors in the database nd a resuls page. He says "Just integrating my pages into your design "templates" will be very time consuming in itself ". I thought it was a fairly simple process, but I am at a loss to explain how; as I am not technical. Is it same as the FORM tutorial? Here is the search page http://www.thetradesjournal.com/apps/search.php and sign up http://www.thetradesjournal.com/apps/signup.php any suggestions how to have these added on the "templated site" for the same look and feel? Thanks |

No, it is very easy, using your template and an Iframe to place the search pages in. Have a look at www.navaldesign.info/therapy2/search.html However, for a full scale integration, the pages should have been built already integrated with your template and / or requirements. Have a look at these two page: www.navaldesign.info/therapy2/register.php and www.navaldesign.info/therapy2/view_profile.php This is an application i'm building and has, as you see, some of visual part already built in, then it will run inside an iframe. For now, i have limited access to only registering, as well as viewing a demo record (no option to save the changes) for demo purposes.
