Thread: Delete php script - gets 500 server error

Hi

I have installet a php script. When I deleted it I got a 500 server error.

The very nice customer support have helped me twice with this problem.

Anyone know how to delete the php files on the server without getting this error message. I don.t know what I'm doing wrong.

Just delete it, then check the folder (the one the script was in, as well as those of the public_html to make sure the permissions are still correct) Usually 755 for internal folders, 750 for public_html

Ok, just do as i told you. Please check all folders affected by this script.

I'm getting the same error above. I am trying to install easymod. In addition, is also says there is a 404 error. I've checked the permissions and they are all as you say. Please help.

How are you going about deleting them? Are you using an ftp, or cpanel file manager? or some other way?
