Simple Link php forum to index page question?

O.K., I finished the php forum stuff and it is in my cpanel ect.. complete. Now i want to link my forum to my index page. This is what i did inside BlueVoda:

1. Double Clicked on the text and then i clicked on the link button.
2. In the window i manually typed (after the http:// that was already in the window)Healthygoodfood.com/forum.html

That did not work...

Step #2:

1. Same as above:
2. http://healthygoodfood.com/forum/index.php.html

That also did not work....

When I click the link i get this message:

Not Found

The requested URL /forum.html was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What should I do? Thanks in advance for for your much appreciated help.

YES, o.k.-- but i wanted to link "that" http://healthygoodfood.com/forum/index.php -- page to my home index page of http://healthygoodfood.com, if you go there you will see the link--but how do i make the two pages link together?

Hi, you have http://healthygoodfood.com/forum.html as the link from your home page to the forum .
Replace the link with http://healthygoodfood.com/forum/index.php
