Thread: Adding classified ads to web site....,HELP!

Looking to install a classifieds section on my BV site.
Any Suggestions?
Noah's Classifieds only works with php4 so that won't work.
Found something call 68 Classifieds that could be OK.
Requirements are as follows:
PHP Version 4.3.0 or above
MySQL 3.23 or above
Either GD, GD2, or Netpbm for the image upload and resize functions.
ionCube Loaders
Does anybody know if BV uses GD, GD2 or Netpbm?
How about ionCube?
Any ideas? Anybody using classifieds?

It should work with any version 4 or higher, php 5 should work fine.

BV is a program, Vodahost the hosting service offers GD with their hosting package

Noah's Classifieds DOES in fact work on VodaHost servers, although the script available for auto-install in Fantastico is flawed, requiring you to manually install it.
Noah's has recently been "bought" and the newest version is not yet released, so it is a matter of licensing more than anything else. The FREE version (not the Fantastico "flawed" version) is still availbale, however, and is the one recommended for use here at VodaHost.
