    Default Password Protection Question

I'm trying to figure out how to password protect certain pages within my site but not the index page. I want people to regiter there and then when I confirm them allow them to go to password protected pages.

I tried and tried and tried and just can't figure it out.

Hi, you create a directory/folder called ? (passwordarea) in your cpanels public_html & then password protect the folder. You would the publish your protected pages to this folder. IE: /public_html/passwordarea/
