Default Installing Form Maker Pro

Hi, I'm trying to install the above and got stuck. I think I'm ok to step 4 of the installation guide having ceated a database etc but when I come to step 5 and try to run install.php by inserting my web address into the browser I get the following message:

Template Error: set_root: tpl is not a directory.
Halted.

I just can't see where I'm going wrong, perhaps the error occurs earlier on? Very frustrated and need very simple, straightforward guidance please.

Mike

Hi, with FMP its worth a check that all files have been uploaded to the server. It has happened quite a few times with different members. (But there are a few to check).

Good luck.
PS. My brother used to live in Wollaston in a area called the Pykies?? Dando close. Had many boozy evenings in the locals. Now he lives in Islip/Thrapston.

I think it's called the Pyghtles, common name in Northamptonshire. The local pub is now called The Wollaston Inn although it was known as the Nags Head - apparently it had bands such as The Rolling Stones and Black Sabbath playing in the 70's. Gastro pub now but bands still play upstairs from time to time now. I'll have a look at which files have uploaded but still puzzled why hasn't gone through as per the instructions?

Ah! Nice one. Hopefully that will be it, not uncommon.
Good luck.

I will see if Bruv remembers. He was their from 79-85 ish. Bit late for the stones, but Sabbath was still doing the pubs & Uni's at that time.

Now got stuck on the next stage, entered the first 4 boxes ok, what goes in this box? Enter your MySQL database full path in the "MySQL host" field;

Got to say I really find this difficult with Vodahost, what goes in each of the boxes???
