Thread: 530 login authentication failed

Now, trying to follow instructions from Installation at point 3 of .../fmpdocs/... at the "connect" item I'm getting " 530 login authentication failed". (I'm working with Vista).
I searched at >Trace Windows> but I dont understand nothing they told me there.
What I should do?

Not enough info to really answer you.. I assume its file maker pro? Did you make a database and a user name and password to the database?

This is a FTP user authentication error. Check your username and password you are trying to log in with.

Sometimes it can be a server problem (problem with the database that stores usernames / passwords) . However, this is easy to find out: if you can log in your Control Panel, and you can connect with FTP, there is no server problem. If not, submit a support ticket.
