Thread: using php to search database

Hello
i wanted to know if and how can i build a search form in my site , something like that :
http://www.restaurants.co.il/

search for the name of place
area (and after a city ?)

and so on......

i know in general that i need to make a search form and then send the info with php to search the DB

but how?

google for php and then study, learn, swear when it dosnt work
or
pay someone to write a script for you..............
