    Default adding php to index.html

My main page (index.html) has some basic php that is called to help me manage my links.

using the <?php ?> without saving the file as .php doesn't seem to compile.

    I haven't found in Cpanel where I can shift index.html to index.php -

    Is there a way..

In BV, set the page extension to be .php before saving ans publishing. Or. you can change the .html extension in .php using ftp
