I want to build up a plattform-page, where everybody that is
looking for a translator can publicize his add. For
translators which wants to have access to this database there's
a small fee to pay.

Is it possible with a VodaHostAccount to insert a database
which is updated immediately ( everytime an add is entered
it has to be published). Does VodaHost also give support on how
to create a database and how to insert it in a webpage?
Does a VodaHostAccount offers enough space for such a database?

May I use VodaHostWebsitebuilder to create a database?

Secondly I have question on the proper payment system!
I wants to offer a montly payment (monthly fee) and it should
be an international page! Which payment systems are the best for that,
how do i insert them and how much does this costs?

I'm very grateful for any kind of help! To build the page, to design it is quite simple with VodaHostWebsitebuilder, but there are many other difficulties as you can see!

yes, you can have more databases, but this has nothing to do with updating. You are going to need a script to do that.

Vodahost has a generic tuttorial on MySQL databases. Vodahost provides hosting and assistance on hosting and BlueVoda which is a family Product. Vodahost therefore does not support software rthat users install on their sites. You should look at the MySQL forum and website.

Yes, your Vodahost account is VERY large. You can have unlimited databases.


May I use VodaHostWebsitebuilder to create a database?

No, Bluevoda is a html generator, suitable to create a site. It doesn't deal with databases. Furthermore, no website builder i know of can do that. You will need a specific tool (most probably in php) to create the (php) pages that will be the interface to your database. Make e Google search. PHPRunner could be one choice.

The problem is not the payment itself, but your billing system. You need a billing system that will be able to follow payments for the customers in it's database, de-activate accounts automatically after let's say 10 days that the subscription has not been renewed, will email clients to remind them, and of course will provide you and your customers with the necessary infomation . Payment can be done through Paypal, and i think it's free for certain types of accounts, there is a fee for additional features. Again, make a net search for the billing system and visit www.paypal.com for the payment tools available. .
