Question Limit to inputs in HTML "grey block"

    Hi Folks,

I am developing this page using the "little grey block" HTML and inserting php to it quite succesfully.

I have included all the rows I require however when I wish to edit that information or go any further in development I am restricted to the input - that is I cant enter any more nor edit like I had done previously.

I have tried various options like trying to edit a txt file and then insert but the result here is that the excess is deleted and only a certain of information is allowed to be inserted.

How do I get around this impase?

Try this..Login to your cpanel and add the code directly to the online page via file managers page editor.

    Hi,

Thnaks very much for the prompt reply.

The suggestion worked. I however now sit with a file .bvp that is not the same on my computer as what is now on the server.

I have two questions if I may:

What was the cause of the problem I was encountering and how does one fix it outside the method adopted.

How do I get the file on the server to become a .bvp file for any future changes I might have on this side. Using the Cpanel is very slow by comparison.

Your assistance here is most appreciated.

Make the same changes to your locally resident .bvp file by opening it using Notebook.

Or, simply copy the addtional/edited code onto a document to be saved on the side. You can't have it both ways!

    Hi Vasilli,

    Thanks for the reply.

I have tried the notepad option but when I try to save it back to .bvp a whole lot of information is removed.

    Why would this be so?

Is there a limit to the information added?

    Is it a bug?

If I cant save it as a.bvp file in its toatl context it means I cannot publish that file a normal using BV.

Only looking to have the one file and one system as before.

    Thanks again for your inputs.
