    Wink Help with Form

    Hi,
I am new to this forum but I always read it and get good information from it all of you are so helpful. I am having a problem trying to figure out how to make my form work. I know how to do the tutorial that bv shows but that is not what I wanted. When people fill out my form and hit submit I want a message to pop up that reads "thank you your form has been submitted." And I want to get all of the information from that form sent to my e-mail. But the way BV says to do it in the tutorial makes outlook or what ever your default e-mail is pop up to right an e-mail. Well, does anyone know how to do what I am asking?

Have a look at whatDavid has done using the link he has supplied it's very good, nice one david! Or if you'd prefer or are unsure I'll happily supply you with the script. It wasn't very long ago when Naval design was sorting out mine, time for me to pass on the knowledge. Let me know.

    Cheers

I am using David's script and it works as advertised. Was wondering if there is a script to emulate what the back button on the browser does? For example, if an error window comes up and they need to edit the contact form, I would like to place a "Go Back..." hyperlink to bring the form back up with info still in it, just as it does if they hit the "Back" icon in the Browser.
    Thanks.

    Hi enstorms,
you can do this by selecting the "advanced button" icon from the bv menu
and changing the properties .......................button text should read
    "back"..............
You can put this type of button on any page you wish.......
look at 1 of my sites, I use it a lot..............

    David,
What I would like for it to do is to return me to the page I just came from with edited data still in the fields. So if a mistake is made in a form, they will be returned to that page, not the original form prior to editing.
    Thanks.

The back button will do excactly this: the visitor will get back to already filled form, and he will only have to edit his mistakes.
