Make sure that all your URLs either contain the www. or they do not, if some have it (in example in your links) and some don't, it will give you the above error message

Hello Naval,

You have been very helpful to me on issues of publishing my file. Thank you for your help and I am truly appreciate.

Now Based on what I see here, It apperars that you are expert on forms. I have able to correct all other "Bugs" on my sites, but I have been struggling with all my forms for sometime now, I veiwed and read all the instructions and followed it religiously. Upon review prior to publishing them each time,It showed me that all elements on all the forms "Worked Perfectly", including the "reset buttons, but except the sumbit button, when clicked on it, it shows"The server cannot display the page".So the bottom line was that I CANNOT get my forms To WORK!

So 2 days ago I decided to pay the $30.00 to have th "Premium Tech Support to assist me to solve the problems. I received the order confirmation. and also received a note from Brad (please see the attached).

Now I just received a note from the support department telling me it not their job, and as usual asking me to go to the "Forum" for help. Without mentioning the $30.00 I just paid. What is going on?

So here I am once more Can you help me and tell me what's going on?

There are 3 sites: For site <Elitelifestylevillas.com>: Form 1 -Contact & thank yopu response. Form 2. Reservation Request & thank you response. Form 3. Elite Affiliate application & Thank you response.

For site<Globalbuyerstrust.com> Form 1. Contact & Thank you. Form 2. Property search & thank you, Form 3. Global Affiliate Application & Thank you response.

For site<affordabledr.com>: Form 1. Introduction invitation to prospect form & Response to the prospect and the affilliate. Form 2. Prospect Log-in Sheet , intended that when the prospect return us the invitation, the prospect's name and email address will be automatically registered on this sheet. and the Affiliate is given a access code to review and confirm that her/his referral prospect is registered with us to ensure payment of commission.

These forms are designed with same style and functions except the respective URL and extensions are changed respectively.
Frustrated! I used a separate wibsit for this to avoid the potential prospect
to discover the sites prior to the invitation to protect the affiliate.

Hope you may shed some light on these matter.

I am not sure why you have paid the $30 or what you expected the help desk to do or promissed to do. These, in my knowledge, are not issues that the help desk can solve, and, if they could, i'm not sure how could they ever prefix the price in $30.

Regarding your forms, i can only see some mistakes but ofcourse, i can't see the rest because i can't actually have the pages and the action files.

1. You have associated "events" to almost ALL your fields. They make no sense as they have been used, and cause conflicts. The worst is the event associated with your submit button
2. In any case the "Email" field needs to be renamed in "email"
3. You have the entire form background linked to "contact.html".

If you don't edit these points, your forms will never work.

I'm from be**ium and i am just starting to use BV wich by the way is a great product. However I am already two days wrestling with the form.
I have the latest version and it should be very simple. Everything works, including thank you page but i am not receiving the results by email. Can somebody have a look on my website and check it out.

Thanks for the ABVFP. It's ALMOST working, I'm getting a "Installation Error Page" when I click the submit button on the page

The hidden field should be "Formid" (uppercase F) . You have named it "Feedback" . Change it and it should work.

Hi All

I am having major problems with the Form. I created a membership form by using the video tutorial on Form 1 on how to use it which is great. However there is one issue I did not understand on the Video, when you enter the php code in the HTML Properties section it says to "scroll down the page" and copy/paste the code in. But there was no code to copy and paste, I then read the below text under the Video and it mention the advanced processor? Do I need to use this also to get that little piece of code I need?

No, the Tutorial makes reference to the old, BV 9 and the new one has NOT been prepared yet. You don't need anymore to copy / paste any code, nor you need to make the Thank you (action) page php, html will be enough, bedause it no longer holds any php code. Instead, your Form page, needs to be php.

Yoy only need to use ABVFP if you want the advanced features it has (like, in example, Database storing)

Ahh Naveldesign helpful as always :)

So just that I am clear on this. I did not use the From Wizard, I made it the "old" way if you wish (adding the edit boxes and text muself inside the Form Grid.

So all I need to do it, make the From page .php? and the Thank you page can stay .html? is that it? just link the two pages and publish?

Out of all the things on BV the forms I have really struggled with, everything else is working great for me.

First, make sure you have version 10.1 of BV.
In that case, opne your form page and double click the form.
Youneed to tick the "Use built in PHP form processor" checkbox.
The form page MUST be php
The Thank you page can stay html.
The errror page the same (html). You NEED a error page. Read the Wizard tutorial, it is really quite simple making an Error page.

You came through...again! Your correction worked perfectly. Will I need to name each form's hidden field "Formid" regardless of the number, or just that one in particular?

All of the forms. The hidden field shows ABVFP that the value that follows (2, 3 etc) are the ID (identity) of the form, so the script will know which processing details it must retrieve from the database.

Hello!
Really hoping for some help - I have searched the posts for hours & feel like I've been taking stupid lessons as nobody else seems to have fallen at the very first hurdle!
I have tried to download the ABVFP. On extracting the files I get the BVpages (with the contact page, error page & thank you page) and the tutorial. That's it. Feel like I need a step by step tutorial for an idiot and it's driving me insane! Where do I go from here?
Thanks for being patient - I'm sure I'll be fine if I can just get it off the ground!

Did you read the tutorial ? In the same zip with the Tutorial and the Pages, there is a number of files, that you need to upload on your site. Please read the tutorial, and you will find the necessary instructions in there.

Being the Author of ABVFP i can asure you that all the necessary files as well as ALL the necessary instructions are in the zip you downloaded.

We are new to this form processor how do we get our form to allow our users to upload pictures and have the pictures placed on a ready made template?

Uploading the pictures is easy. Displaying them in a ready made template could be a bit more difficult as it requires some scripting, especially if the images need to be automatically resized to fit into predefined spaces.

We understand that uploading pictures can be easy but how do we go about letting our customers do it themselves?
