I can see all three

www.heersuperstore.com
www.drsingh.org.uk
www.nhsdoctors.net

However, this has nothing to do with ABVFP, please post in the correct forum (about hosting)

I was wondering if there was a way I can change that??

It's not absolutely necessary, but I just haven't yet been able to figure out (on my own) how to configure that setting. I didn't see anything in my form properties online that allowed me to change anything, except for the total upload size, which I don't even use.

Is there any way I can change the limitations of the number of allowed characters in the form?

Thanks! :)
Just change the field name extension. In the Tutorial that came with the ABVFP zip, there is a table of fieldname extensions. -A means 30 chrs, -B means 60 and so on. Open the word tutorial, look at possible extensions, and change (in the form) the comments field name as you like it. Save the form page and republish it.

Default Created first form ok but not the second form

I hope someone can help me.
I created the first form ok, and it works ok. I created a second form based on the first with some changes. Created a new form ID etc in ABVFP admin and setup my page accordingly. When testing the form to create a database it reported an error :
There has been an unknown error during Form Table creation. Invalid Query = CREATE TABLE `Form_Nr_4` (`Record_Nr` INT NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY, `First_Name` VARCHAR (30), `Last_Name` VARCHAR (30), `Address` VARCHAR (60), `City` VARCHAR (30), `State` VARCHAR (30), `Country` VARCHAR (250), `Church` VARCHAR (30), `Email` VARCHAR (100), `Telephone` INT, `Fax` INT, `Mobile` INT, `Capt` VARCHAR (250), `First_Officer` VARCHAR (250), `Second_Officer` VARCHAR (250), `Church_Email` VARCHAR (100), `Captains_Name` VARCHAR (60), `First_Officer` VARCHAR (60), `Accept` VARCHAR (250), `Submission_Date` VARCHAR (20),`IP_Address` VARCHAR (15) ) ENGINE = myisam;: Please contact support at info@????systems.com

A piece of html from the page:

Here I am again... Forms....
All looks ok with action page, and form itself. But when submitted the form data doesn't make it to my email. I do receive the auto responder so I know there is a connection somewhere.

If the program was set up before Jan. 2007 does this mean that the Advanced processor info. isn't going to work here?

Check that the relevant table is not already created due to some previous trial to setup a form with the same Form ID number. If yes, you need to enter your CP, MySQL section, php MyAdmin, and check the ABVFP database. then, if it exists, DROP the table Form_nr_4

Is the email address you are using to test, the same as the email address set in the ABVFP CP as your email ? If yes, check your spam folder, as it should not happen. If they are different, then probably your ISP blocks the email. You should check (in this case also) your spam folder, or you might even need to use an email address within your VH account or a gmail one.

Hello Again.
I checked the database and could not find fault with it. Deleted database and ABVFP installation and started over.
I can create the forms within the database using ABVFP admin, change the formid in the hidden field, save it, publish it and try to submit it it comes back with what I previously reported
I can not use any of the forms as they will not generate a table
Attached is a copy of the database

Sorry for not seing this before: You have TWO fields named the same way "First_Officer" so the script cannot create a table with duplicate columns. That's why it fails and stops. Check your form, edit it and Save / republish. REFRESH your browser before testing again.

Connect with FTP. Browse to the ABVFP folder. Double click on the file dbts_ABVFP_config.php . It will open up in Notepad and you will be able to see your details.

Default a little help with my form

Naval,
I need to change the address that a submitted form goes to.
After I originally setup the form, I forgot about it. Can you guide and direct me to the solution I am looking for?
Any help is MOST appreciated.
Thank you in advance

Just type in your browser http://www.gilbertfuneralhomes.com/ABVFP . Log in with your details, select option 3 "Modify the settings of an existing form" and from the drop down select the form you need to edit. Click on Step 2. The form settings will appear, just edit the email address and click on "Memorize settings".

These steps are described in the tutorial that came with the zip.
