| This service notice only applies to VodaHost customers who joined VodaHost between March 1, 2005 and November 29, 2005 Via PayPal or 2 Checkout. All others please ignore this notice. Dear Customers, In order to serve you better on November 30 we upgraded to a more robust billing system. Our old system could not handle the volume of daily orders we are getting. Please click the below link to login into VBS (VodaHost Billing Services) and acquaint yourself with our new billing system as well as update your password. http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/new...-services.html If you do not know what your password is. Try the password “changeme” along with your email address as your username. If that does not work. Please click the button that says “forgot your password” and enter the email address that you originally signed up with and your password will be emailed to you. ************ This next part is very important ************ The way you will be billed has changed, From this point forward you will no longer have subscription billing. This means your billing will not auto renew. Instead, you will be sent an invoice on a yearly or monthly basis. (Depending on which payment method you selected). You will now need to log into VBS to pay your invoice and manage the financial aspects of your account. We will soon be cancelling all recurring billings subscriptions with PayPal and 2check out, so expect to receive an email notifying you of this. In order to ensure that your billing is cancelled, please log into your PayPal or 2CO account and cancel your subscription, this way you will not be billed twice. I repeat….Please log into your PayPal or 2Checkout account and cancel your recurring subscription. Thank you in advance for helping make this one time transition as smooth as possible.

Use the email address that you created your original VodaHost account with. Also please check your spam and bulk email folders. Sometimes email gets intercepted.

| Hi All, We received a few calls... The common topics are. 1) Yes, we will still use Paypal and 2CO for proccessing. All we did was upgrade our billing software. 2) The new invoices that you now will receive from us are tax deductable. BUT, we suggest you consult your accountant first. Sarah..

I received an email informing me I was no longer being billed re: voda host account and, because of the wording, panicked a little thinking the automatic withdrawal was dishonored...or something...anything...'but what?' could have I done to have my vodahost account withdrawn?! Wish I would have recieved an email from Sarah instead. Am not always tuned into the Voda forum. My point.... Does BV not have mass mailing to inform of such change before it occurs? WHOA... Okay, I figured out how to get into my billing account, but I have 2 invoices listed for 39.95 each that are shown as paid. 39.95 on 10/01/2005 and 39.95 on 12/01/2005. I thought my subscription was 9.95/month??? I know my credit card was billed for $9.95/month previously... but I don't know anything about $79.90 over a 2-month span. (??!!) Did the price of Voda hosting change too? Julie S.

Ok....Great......So far we have converted about 33% of our customers to the new billing system and we only have a handful of minor hicups, mostly password related. I must say that I am very pleased.... If you are having trouble accessing VBS, please open a support ticket with your full details and we will do a password reset for you. Thank you for your support.

I got into modernbill (THANKS SARAH!!!) I was paying with paypal and want to pay my bill. I go into my invoice and it tells me the options I have are to pay with either money order/cheque. I would like to change that to my cc, so I went to update cc and I get the message: "you billing method must first be changed to cc batch" Is this something I need to pester Sarah about again or is there an easier solution. hi i payed using 2checkout, sarah said i should cancel the subscription to ensure am not gonna be billed twice how do i do that?? i dont even remember i made an account with 2checkout i tried to login and use the "forgot your password" option... but then they ask me for the answer for the secret question which i surely dont remember. thanks for your help regards |

Sorry, I got a new password by email and though can't log in (https://vodahost.com/modernbill), what's going on? Maybe it's because my emailadddress (the one I signed up my vodahost account) is different from my billing emailaddress (the paypal address). With my "original" emailaddress: I couldn't neither log in nor get a new password by email, the system said "unknown email, your ip is logged". With my paypal address: I couldn't log in, but could get an email with a new password, but I can't log in with the submitted email/password. Please help! |

My billing account still shows 2 invoices paid for a total of $79.90. It says total due $0.00. I still haven't gotten a response as to WHY my account says I have paid $39.95 twice. I originally signed up for $9.95 paid monthly. Also, is there anything I should be doing to make sure my account doesn't lapse? Thanks- Julie S.

Hello - =) Wow... where did you get THAT screenshot? That's not what I saw at all in my account. There was never a screen that showed those details. Actually, when I just logged in after reading your message, my account information has been changed to show 39.95 paid. HOWEVER, my main question still stands: WHY does it say I have paid 39.95 when I clearly signed up for the service at 9.95/month in October? Dont' mean to be a pain. Ok..lets defines the $39.95. when you signed up you choose the monthly billing option. The break down is a $30 set up fee and $9.95 per month. which equals to $39.95 as a one time payment. After this your next billing will be for $9.95 per month. I hope this is clear. So this new system basically doesn't change anything other then how payment is managed? We still continue to pay how did, but its handled through the modernbill interface for easier managment?
