The primary drive on Voda20 is completely corrupted...We are...

b2evolution isn't going to be able to provide support for a server crashing.

Vodahost has backups that will restore, depending on how new the backup is you might have lost your latest blog posts back to a certain period of time (you'll know when the server is back up).

If you don't already do it you might want to consider typing your blog up on your computer, and then copy and pasting when you post (or vice versa) so you have a backup of your work for circumstances just like this

Will we lose emails that were sent to our domain during the outage?

Hi Flip,
My latest blog was about 1 central yesterday but Alvin did ask the question on how much of the server recovery is done and Vodahost said 60% so there may be some hope after all. I spoke too soon but hopefully after completion I will know something. Thank you flip

Hi Voda,
Could a corrupted drive come from anyone who is using that server or is this normal?

Hardware failures are rare but they do happen, we use Dell servers...they are top rated and very reliable...But stuff still happens now and again from normal every day usage....Fortunately we have rock solid disaster recovery plans...

Sounds great...in the meantime it is just sit and wait. Thanks for the reply back.

It took over 50 minutes to get 12% progress.. doing the math you are looking at 2:30-3:00... but they will be done when they are done, they will tell you, asking isn't going to make it go faster
