What's fixed?

- Fixed: Navigationbar 2 pixel offset bug.
- Fixed: Some ALT+ shortcuts didn't work (ProfUIS Bug)
- Fixed: Menubar now accepts leading and trailing spaces for menu items.
- Fixed: Menubar didn't work if text contained a single quote
- Fixed: Could not select Line object for specific sizes (hit test calculation).
- Fixed: Cell HTML is now correctly displayed in Object HTML window.
- Fixed: Before, Inside and After tag HTML now works for Table cells
- Fixed: Image size was incorrect when border was active.
- Fixed: Height calculation of Table cells did not include padding value.
- Fixed: Banner offsets where not saved and now they also work for right and bottom aligment.

What's Improved?

- Improved: Upgraded to ProfUIS 250 for better stability/speed
- Improved: Increased filename limit in FileDialog for Image Gallery object.
- Improved: Initial table cell HTML is no longer empty.
- Improved: Invalid span tags are ignored while importing HTML.
- Improved: Marquee background color for FireFox compatibility
- Improved: Generated HTML is now W3C compliant.
- Improved: Toolbar link button is now also enabled for shapes.
- Improved: Form resizing. Now you can resize the top/left border without moving the emdedded controls.

What's New?

- Added: Import button in Custom HTML properties.
- Added: Marquee background color now supports transparency (Automatic)
- Added: Forced word-wrapping in table cells, to prevent word-wrapping problems in tables (FireFox bug).
- Added: Photo Gallery target window property
- Added: Alternate Text property to navigationbar buttons.
- Added: Table cell border color
- Added: Border color for images.
- Added: DOCTYPE is now included (required by W3C)
- Added: Keyboard shortcuts to walk through the objects: TAB and SHIFT-TAB, to make selection a little bit easier.
- Added: Alternate Text property to navigationbar buttons.
- Added: Alternate Text property to shape.
- Added: Option to configure alternative preview browser (Tools->Options->Preview)
- Added: Windows Media Player properties: loop, autostart and hide.

Notes about W3C Compliance...

1) New pages will be automatically configured for W3C compliance.
2) Existing pages need some adjustments:
a) You must set the character set to the correct value (Page Properties) for English select 'ISO-8859-1'
b) All text objects must be 'recompiled', to do this simply double click them
to go to 'edit mode' and then switch back to 'view mode' by clicking anywhere else in the workspace.
c) Publish the page to your website.
3) Some objects are not officially supported by W3C but are implemented in most browsers.

Objects which are 100% W3C compliant...

Text, Image, Shape, Form, Push Button, Radio button, Image Button, Checkbox,
Editbox, TextArea, ComboBox, Advanced Button, File Upload, Inline Frame,
Banner, Rollover image, Ad banner rotator, Navigation bar, Go menu.

All other objects are perfectly valid HTML, although not officialy supported.

I found out that I'm the first one to review the new version, and really have no words for the job done....

To All BV Users: don't lose precious time: you might find out that some of the things you've been strugling to acomplish, are now much more easier to do. Download now! and find out for yourselves all the new stuff.Space -at last -your menubar, have a hiddenMP, and have a beautiful marquee without need to "border" it with same color background to hide it, set the photogallery popup window properties.

If you don't upgrade right now, you may regret it tomorrow, when you will discover how much time you have lost.

No, just install directly over any older version and reboot your computer before you launch it.

As a designer I have come to discover the best solution ever to save me tons and tons of time and enable me to create intuitively (which you cant do with a standard html editor) .......much potential is waiting to be released:)))

If I download 7.7, is it mandatory that all text on all pages need to be adjusted? (Notes about W3C Compliance (2) a, b, c) If I don't adjust the text, what effect would it have on my existing site?

I will give it a try....I am still learning how to use....one thing I trying to figuire out is how to add be able to click from you main page [index.html] to another page you create...I know how to add a link from main page to another internet address but I need to know how to make a link from my main page to another page I created.....like a photo page or other news etc.....do I make any sense....

It is exactly the same. Put in the link the URL of your own pages, insterd of those of another internet site. Type the full url, f.e.

http://www.myownsite.com/mygallery.html

1) Uninstall BV
2) reboot

I attempted to open the zipped file and received the following message:

The Compressed (zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted.

Fantastic! Especially the choice of browser. I have been changing default browser, then back again, just to be able to view the pages in different browsers. Thank you. And the transparent marquee -- beautiful. I have not tried it all out yet, but it will be interesting to see the w3c html compliance. So far I have been editing my own html to validate it; if I don't have to do that anymore, it will save me so much time. Thanks again.

put the Advanced Button icon and the Upload Field icons in the toolbars,
till the other day i used code to put Back, Reset and Submit buttons whilste i could have created my own buttons, more suitable to my site style. Many of us don't even know they exist
