Free PDF converter .... not a trial and you can use it forever!

Yes, I found one ... previously all I could find were free trials, or limited uses of a program to convert documents to pdf ....

Thought I would share this with everyone ... it was great news to me ...

To save a word document to pdf, you go to print, this will then open the program and will save to your computer ... you can change where it is you want to save these documents ....

I purchased the full program at one time- cuz I need to use it to do much more - but that's great for what most on here have been looking for.

primopdf is a great user friendly and FREE program. Like beth said- sometimes one needs a little more than the basic. IF that is the case and you still want FREE- try pdf995

This is a full feature pdf creator, manipulator, editor etc...... It is totally free. The free version only has a small ad that pops up at the begining- thats all. To get rid of the ad- the whole suite costs $19.95. I have been using them for years (the FREE version) and have had zero problems with it. Great full feature program.

Sadain it does .... the converter I gave the link to at the top of this thread does ... you go to print and then choose the pdf converter as your printer (but it does not actually print, unless you want it to) and then it saves it as a pdf document ...

yw Sadain ... if you are anything like me, you have a ton of downloads waiting to install, and the worst is some I forget what they are - but at the time, I know I wanted it ... lol

Hi Holly, don’t know if you can help ? But when I convert a document to a PDF via the software. Can I get more than one document into a single PDF file? So if I wanted to take 4-5 word documents from file & enter them in 1 pdf file, can this be done? Or do I have to make up the 4 or 5 files into one 1st then make the pdf.

Hi David, i have used this one a few times & all have come back really good. You can convert on the spot & also do it both ways.. But if you have a few to do? email them. It’s a bit slow sometimes via email but pretty good normally & saves waiting. http://www.freepdfconvert.com/

Hi Chris

You can take more than one page, but only one file so to speak, it's a very simple menthod, this one, and really really quick, like 10 seconds or less for 4 or 5 pages ... the method is just really when you are within your word document, go to print, then when your printer preferences come up, choose pef converter and that's it, instantly saves it as a pdf ...

To convert pdf to word just open your pdf file and and then saves a text document ...

Hi,

I downloaded this PDF file but on the site it stated that I need to download another file which is the installer. I was unable to download the installer, getting a message informing me that the file can't be found. The one that you installed on your computer was it ver. 3.0 and did you need a separate installer to install? If so I suppose I'll have to wait until the link is fixed to download the installer.
