I know how to do everything here but download the file into the PHP editor. I've tried: Right clicking on file Downloading PHP editor Some instructions said that when I double click on php file it would open in the php editor but it does not. Im trying to edit the OS commerce home page. Understand tutorial but need help getting file downloaded to php editor. Thanks |

You need to get a ftp program to download the files from whatever directory you have oscommerce installed in. Then once they are on your computer just edit them, and then use the ftp to upload and overwrite the existing files. If you have a program like dreamweaver, it has a built in ftp that lets you open the files that are on the server, edit and save directly to the server. PS.. backup any files you are editing..
