Thread: Paypal cart will only accept dollars.

Hello,
I have now published my site, www.calzicards.com and tried to test the shopping cart but was informed I could only add amounts in dollars.
My primary currancy at paypal is british pounds and confirmed as such, my account is premier. All my add to cart buttons were created at paypal and I copied and pasted the code as directed.
I have asked paypal for help and they suggested I came back here. Would anyone know what else I should do.

If you are creating your buttons in paypal. .then it will be in your paypal configuration and your chose payment methods. Look in your payment prefences, website preferences etc..

Thanks Karen, I have checked and double checked all my settings and can,t see whats causing this, have referred back to paypal, and wait to hear from them.

Thanks Ramsey, am I correct in assuming you clicked on a cart button and if so have you any ideas why I am having this problem, I am still trying to get through to paypal to resolve this.

I dont understand where you are seeing dollars?

Hi Ramsey, when I click on a cart button I get this message "you may only add items denominated in US Dollars to this cart for this merchant" have I missed some vital step out when making my buttons?

You must have something wrong with your computer then.. your paypal works fine.

Think of it this way.... how many times are you going to buy from your own site? Everyone else can pay in £ so dont worry about it.
