Recovering lost BVP files

My hard drive fried and I do not have a backup of my files. Is there a way to recover them back to my new hard drive from the vodahost servers?

It involves a bit of messing about but can be done.

Open Blue Voda (new blank page).

Goto File > New Page > from existing HTML page

Set the radio button to Remote (for internet)

Type the URL of your web page.

Your page will appear on your screen BUT you will probably have some work to do with it before you can save it as a .bvp file again. Sometimes i-frames are messed up and sometimes objects are duplicated.

This happened to me several months ago, you have my sympathy. Good luck. And do some back-ups when you get straight!!

I have just tried this way to recover my site but all I get is "error while importing html" then I get a yellow page

Try redownloading and installing blue voda .. be sure to tick remote on the internet, and be sure as well to type the entire url beginning with http://www.
