Help needed with my Broadband Modem...

Hey everyone,

I have a rca digital broadband modem that i use for my internet (ISP = cogeco) and all the lights of the modem keep flashing except for the email light. I looked it up in the booklet and all I found was that if all the lights are flashing, it means your modem is performing a system update witch is suppose to take less then a minute but mine lasts forever. I have noticed that sometimes the modem tries to reset itself but everytime it tries it can never get back to normal. I even tried to manually reset the darn thing but it just keeps on flashing... any help would be greatly appreciated:D

Oh and I'm using my friends computer to type this if ur wondering...

Check connections on the rear and make sure nothing is loose.
Check connection to the wall to the cable plate.
Call cable company. The service may have been interrupted
by an accident (broken fiber or cable).

Is this a new box, or was it working in the past?

Did you call your broadband supplier?

Not sure if this will work for you in Canada. Local broadband instructions are:Turn off your computer and then disconnect your modem for a full minute, reconnect your modem and wait for lights then turn your computer back on.
