Icons Moving

Does anyone using Windows XP find the icons on the desktop move leaving blank spaces in between.

Not sure for sure what you may be referring to ...

but if you right click on your desktop and choose ... "Arrange Icons By"
you may find out what is going on.

Sorry for being so long in thanking you both for the replys I had re-arranged the icons already LadyEye but they didn`t stay put.I suppose the movie in C Ls post explains it, ha ha by the time they all limp back into place they are happy to sit just about anywhere .
