all of a sudden every where i go on line i get a pop up saying "run time error" i looked for solutions and saw lots of Fix run time error site - are they safe - any recommendations it is just annoying more than anything thanx in advance

Ann I am wondering if it is a "java/sun runtime error" - perhaps you need an update from there ... open that program and check for updates, it's the only thing I can think of right now and might not even be it ....

Actually runtime errors are usually because of an error in the visual basic (VB) or problems with SCRITPS on the web page. You can disable the scripting messages for most of the instances. Heres a tutorial to do it. http://kb.wisc.edu/helpdesk/page.php?id=2189 Karen
