| Hello! Has anyone had problems with not hearing any internet sound? I can use my iTunes and all other such programs, but nothing sounds from the internet at all! I've been working with Dell forever on this, but they have not solved the problem. At the most, they were able to get me to be able to hear something on yahoo (this is no longer the case), while I couldn't hear anything on YouTube! Weird. Meanwhile, what they advise now is wiping my computer. I'd rather not. Any suggestions, troops???? Thanks so much! Lori

| Hi lori... All I can think of is that you need to check your browser.. addons..and make sure that your browser is enabled to play music..and that your computer internet options.. has a music player enabled... It's a bit of a hassle to deal with but once done ..it's done and working.... Doug |

| Thanks Doug, but I've already tried all of that. Thanks for taking the time to answer, though. I appreciate it!

| Whats your default media player? Try making it windows media player or real player. If you can hear every thing else, im guessing its a compatiblility issue. Check Itunes for issues with their requirements, and make sure your windows/explorer updates are current. Karen

| I'll have to figure out how to try making the default Windows Media Player. I'll "report back" once I've done so! Thanks, Karen!

| Does it mean anything to anyone that on my Volume Control the "Input Monitor" is grayed out? Could that have anything to do with anything?

| Hi lori... If the input monitor is dithered (grayed out) it means that your volume control is not available to use.. and yes that could be the reason why you are not hearing anything...Be sure to go into your computer settings and turn it on or connect it... Doug |

It is obvious that the level of "computerese" Lori demonstrates is such that she has not utilized any plug-ins or "add-ons" to IE or any other utility.....re-installing IE is a larger can or worms altogether. I am personally more inclined to think you are simply posting for the sake of posting, after viewing all your other recent "contributions".......
