hwo to be able to listen to music again?!?

Hi,
I just had my computer completely cleaned and had all the programs installed back (I had it done in computer repair place)... all is working well apart from music...ever since the cleaning - I haven't been able to listen to any music that I had stored in flash drive before cleaning... also I haven't been able to hear music that I put on my index page... it shows "additional plugins required" and when I click to look for them - it say - no plugings were found...
I have acer laptop and windows xp...
I would really appreciate any help with this...

What are u trying to play? Mp3's maybe? or just a cd in the cdrom?

It sounds like u may need some software to play the mp3's although I think XP should have it.

Try hooking up with MS Update to restore/update your plug-ins, drivers, and to reset default associations.
