I recently had a severe problem, and had to wipe my drive and start again. During this process, I lost a lot of files and am now in a quandry. I lost all my saved page files, so have to re-build the pages. I've started doing this and after re-doing the first page, I've published it, but it refuses to appear - the original page still comes up. Will I have to delete the original saved page files from my file manager before I try to re-publish? I thought re-publishing would simply overwrite the old pages. If that is the case I have another problem - I can't get FTP as I have a dll file missing and am told to download FTP again, and can't find out how to do this. Sorry if there are two questions here, but they seem to have a relevance to one another. I could really do with a bit of advice here. Thanks guys, - I don't expect any replies for a day or two, 'cause there are probably not too many people working over Christmas - so to you all in BlueVodaland have a very happy time and a prosperous and peaceful 2009. Lee Your FTP program is a part of Bluevoda, so just download a fresh copy and let it overwrite the existing one. Import your web pages before you start deleting anything........... Import your pages direct into bluevoda: File - New page - From existing HTML - Remote |
