Home Page Caching

Hi All.

I am only new to this but I have put together our website and I thought everything was okay ( other than SE problems but that is another story.) The site published okay and all pages worked fine. I made some changes to meta tags, keywords and change the size of pic files and re published. All the pages come up , however, the home page stayed the same. I have updated the home page three times, saved and published but still the original homepage comes up. Again I try and I preview before publishing and everything is okay. Publish page, search and the original home page comes up without being modified. I have exhausted my limited knowledge and seeking help.
