Hi guys, I am currently using Vista. When I try to build a web page in either Windows Notepad or NoteTabLite using html and then saving the file with an 'html' extension I am unable to open it in IE. All I get is the original html. Also, now that I have downloaded Blue Voda when I atempt to start building a webpage and then click on the 'Preview' button, I again only get html. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did they correct the problem. Thanks in anticipation.          |

Chances are you don't have it set to show known file extensions so when you save if as page.html it is actually saving as page.html.txt I can't tell you how to enable showing file extensions with Vista as I don't/won't use vista, but it should be somewhere in your options menu. If its not a file extension issue them I am not sure.

I haven't got to stage of getting a website. What are you using to build? Sounds like you are trying to preview the html page in dreamweaver or soemthing.. not sure. Also if you are using a mac.. bv isnt compatible. Karen
