how to connect 2pc using switch and a modem?

i just want to ask if its possible that 2 computers can have an internet together using a switch and the switch hub will be connected to the modem..

Yes.. you can do this.. however be advised you will likely bump each other off as you are sharing the bandwidth or slow each other down considerably depending on whose packets transmit first. The benefit is that you dont have to share network space or hook computer to computer first. Most modems these days have built in hubs, up to three hard ports and wireless hook ups for second computers at no extra cost. Just ask your isp. Sometimes its a few bucks more.. but worth the pay off
